Intentional Inclusivity

Crossroads is a place that welcomes and includes kids and families with differing abilities into the full life of the church & community. With children & youth programming that understands that every person is unique we work to include, as well as welcome, everyone into community life. From our fully accessible building that also includes both child & adult changing stations, we have sought to create a space that is open to any and all who come.

Purpose & Goals

Our Purpose: The aim of our disAbilities Ministry is to provide families living with individuals with disabilities an opportunity to worship and connect with God. Our church allows all disabled youth an opportunity to join in church activities and sports.

Our Goal: Through God's power, grace and goodness, we lift all individuals with disabilities spiritually, emotionally, and physically.

At Crossroads, and through the gospel of Jesus Christ, we reach out by providing practical and meaningful support and encouragement, so that God's power and goodness are demonstrated in tangible ways such as providing the following support services:

Fidgets, crayons/paper, books and small toys to keep busy hands and bodies calm. Adaptive tools for Sunday school, Adaptive Sports and social skills programs, Community Involvement, "Parents Night Out" Program & Child/Adult Changing Tables.

This is the most organized program I’ve had my kid participate in.
